After the client sessions on the Uncommon Knowledge Hypnotherapy Diploma last Sunday, a few of us went for a mineral water:) in the sunny garden of a nearby pub.

One of our newly trained supervisors said that she had recently been clearing out her bedroom and found an old diary, it had fallen open at a page where she had written that she wanted to become a hypnotherapist and be chosen as a ’supe’ for future Diploma courses. And there she was, eighteen months later, a talented therapist and one of the top students in her year that was invited to work with us.

There are many criteria that we consider when choosing future supervisors on our course;extreme friendliness, knowledge of the course material and natural enthusiasm are just the basics. We then train them how to help the new students to get the most out of the course. the feedback we get from the students about the supes is fantastic.

And what do Mark and I think about our ’supes’ ? Fun, helpful, friendly, bright, encouraging, professional, creative, fab bunch that help to make the Diploma a great experience for all involved.
