Brave women not show offs

Quite a while ago I wrote why fortune favors the brave and so does dating which is mainly about the fact that women find brave, or at least brave acting, men more attractive which accounts for why many women like a man who is a firefighter (rather than, say, a flower arranger). This article points out that men actually like courage and boldness in women too. Why aren’t women more conspicuously brave fighting fires and leaping tall buildings? Because apparently they engage in courageous acts through empathy rather than the need to gain status and show off. Blimey!

    Good Point!

Both Men & Women all have the same deep need - to feel loved. Looks like men seek it by acts of bravery and women most definitely through our empathetic nature and need to please.

If you look at the theory of Imago Therapy is all makes even more sense. We usually look towards others to fill in the gaps of what we ourselves don’t have.

    With gratitude…
