Good grief, well handled depression and fast moving hypnosis

I think my mind and body have sufficiently recovered after another hectic, fun and focused weekend of learning on the Uncommon knowledge hypnotherapy diploma course We did some more work on treating depression I also delivered a lecture on grief and we considered how the natural process of grieving can sometimes tip over into full blown clinical depression if the bereaved person doesn’t maintain the fulfillment of their basic needs We also had fun (but of course for serious illustration :) ) on the Sunday teaching instant hypnotic inductions. It’s not that these types of hypnotic inductions would be used during therapy but we like our uncommon knowlege diploma students to be as flexible as possible, to appreciate how spontaneous and instant hypnosis can be and how suggestions can be planted and then activated as post hypnotic phenomena very rapidly.

Well that’s all from me for now

Mark
