Psychotherapy: What are you good at?

There’s no surprises in this research finding that shows psychotherapists who focus on client strengths (rather than just their pathologies and deficits) get better results.

Thinking about and focusing on client resources (even stubbornness can be reframed as ‘determination.’) seems obvious but, believe it or not has been shied away from in psychotherapy for years. See The mad world of psychotherapy.
