I'm in the "neither" group, and agree that the article is thought-provoking reading. Like all the Uncommon Knowledge I've read thus far, it's plain-spoken, informative, and even a bit entertaining. :) Anyone who knows a smoker (and who doesn't?) can benefit, by gaining insight into what drives their friend/family member's habit. I especially like the parallel drawn between rebellious smokers and infatuated teenage girls and Mark's retorts to the common beliefs held by smokers.

As an aside, a topic about smoking popped up on the message board where I'm an Administrator just after this article was published, and I couldn't resist posting a link to it. Keep up the excellent work!
