The painful associations of grief

A large part of grief whether for an ex partner or from the death of someone close is the negative association that places, times of year or even certain songs can have. It feels right to try to avoid these stimuli in order to avoid feeling bad but actually repeated exposure in the right way to bitter sweet associative triggers may be a key part to controlling grieving

We will be examining grief as part of depression on this coming uncommon knowledge hypnotherapy diploma. That might sound depressing but actually when you develop key strategies to help lift depression and keep people out of it then these skills are any but : )

All the best

Mark
